Our Programs

Adult League

Offer impactful opportunities through sport for young adults ages 18+ up. Basketball Leagues, financial literacy classes and community service.

Youth Basketball

Hosted basketball camps for all girls and co-ed.

All Star Game

Annual Event that will follow our summer adult basketball league. This will be a great wrap up of the season to showcase the local and visiting talent that is apart of the league.

March Madness Event

Basketball is naturally MARCH MADNESS so this is OUR MADNESS we are cultivating in the city of Greensboro. An event to get the community excited for our annual events we host in the summer. It will be a mix of 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 events for young adults for a cash prize.

Drew Effect was founded on the belief that sports have the power to
transform lives. We use basketball as a vehicle to teach invaluable
Life skills: discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to create a safe,
supportive environment where every participant can realize their full
potential, both as an athlete and as a community member.

summer, I started putting in my own team to the summer league
(Beat The Odds Basketball). The opportunity to play with my guys
in that environment against many current and former standout
hoopers of the triad is something I look forward to every summer,
and even while injured this past summer I still had a lot of fun
coaching in it!”
